We are having a lot of these claims getting rejected or not getting the approval for the claim.
Every one of these recalls needs Special Service Support Center (SSSC) approval to be paid. If you get an approval please provide it with the claim. If you do not have an approval please get one before sending it over. It will not go through to Ford for payment if it does not have an approval, it will get rejected by Ford without the approval. Also when getting the approval make sure everything matches:
DATE, RO#, LINE # (if using a number, use a zero in front of the number) or LETTER, PARTS and the HOURS.
On 20S30 if the customer does the inspection and confirms it passes, Ford will automatically close the recall. Dealers will be unable to claim or get SSSC approval for this.
